The modern day institutional church is PROTECTING US FROM ONE ANOTHER, INSTEAD OF CONNECTING US TO ONE ANOTHER.

I was told that after I was born again, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and water that I was now a part of the FAMILY OF GOD.

I never saw a family operate like the institutional church operated, it was anything but a family.

The best part of any Sunday service was 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the service, when the family of GOD COULD CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER.

Often it was hard to get the family to come and be seated to begin the service because they were so enjoying the fellowship of connecting with one another, ONLY THEN TO BE PUT IN A SITUATION OF BEING PROTECTED FROM ONE ANOTHER.

THE WORD SAYS when you come together (the Church), everyone has something to give out, a word, a prophesy, an exhortation, etc,etc.

We don’t come on Sundays with an empty bucket to be filled up. WE COME WITH A FULL BUCKET ….TO GIVE OUT.

Its like driving my car without a generator all week then coming to get my battery charged so I can drive for another week.

NO my car has a generator, and every time I drive it RECHARGES MY BATTERY, KEEPING IT FULLY CHARGED AND IF SOME ONE ELSE’S BATTERY IS DEAD, MY BATTERY HAS ENOUGH POWER TO JUMP START THERE’S AND GET THEM GOING AGAIN.

Now I know there are times when there is a Teacher and we are taught in a different setting.

The outward man is perishing, but the inward man is being RENEWED (TO MAKE NEW AGAIN) DAY BY DAY, THE GENERATOR IS THE RENEWING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT DAILY AS WE ARE IN THE WORD, PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT, AND FELLOW SHIPPING WITH THE FATHER. THE BATTERY IS MY SPIRITUAL CONDITION, IF THE GENERATOR IS NOT WORKING THE BATTERY WILL BECOME VERY WEAK.

The way the institutional church operates is NOT MAKING DISCIPLES, NOT CONNECTING US TOGETHER AS A FAMILY, BUT JUST GIVING OUT SOME INFORMATION MOSTLY.

A disciple is someone who is living by the INDWELLING LIFE OF CHRIST JESUS.

Making disciples is teaching others to live by the INDWELLING LIFE OF CHRIST JESUS.

AND THAT INVOLVES MUCH MORE THAN JUST EDUCATING, WHICH HAS TO DO WITH …...BEING INFORMED.

IT ALSO IS MUCH MORE THAN JUST EQUIPPING, WHICH HAS TO DO WITH….BEING FORMED.

IT GOES ALL THE WAY TO ACTION, AND EXPERIENCING, AND DOING PERSONALLY, WHAT THE INFORMATION TAUGHT US, WHAT THE EQUIPMENT IS USED FOR, AND THAT BRINGS …..TRANSFORMATION…..AND IDENTITY, AND THE PERSON CAN SAY.

I AM A _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

Well happy new year, after some technical difficulties (computer crash) I am back online although just barely, I will need a new laptop soon.

Its amazing that I sat in a building on Sundays for 20+ years only to find out that there is nothing in the word about doing that, Jesus never said to do a Sunday morning service with a few songs and then 1 guy week after week preaching a sermon, and then after an hour we all go home.

You can read Pagan Christianity to get a good history of how we got here, the good news is that millions of believers are leaving the building every year and finding a LIVING, ALIVE, REAL, PERSONAL, AND CARING CHURCH EXPERIENCE.

Many will stay in the building, for me I must find more than that, because to be quit honest after I learned the basics, the Sunday morning experience became a boring endurance contest (and in those early years there were no I-phones to play games on)

It took me many years to break completely free of the building and follow Jesus around the world.

JESUS NEVER SAID:

YOU MUST BE……BORED……AGAIN.

HE SAID YOU MUST BE ….. BORN……AGAIN.

He said BE MY DISCIPLE AND …………….

COME ………………FOLLOW………………..ME.

JESUS IS GOING SOMEWHERE AND WE ARE TO FOLLOW HIM, WHERE IS HE GOING IN OUR LIVES?

THIS DOESN’T MEAN WE ARE ALWAYS GOING SOMEWHERE PHYSICALLY, BUT SOMETIMES IT DOES.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS AND THINGS WE NEED TO FOLLOW JESUS IN, AND THIS IS A NEW YEAR TO LEARN FROM HIM MORE WAYS WE CAN BE OBEDIENT TO HIS VOICE THRU THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I AM GIVING THIS LINK TO SHOW YOU A MINISTRY THAT WENT FROM BORING AGAIN TO BEING THE CHURCH, AND THIS MOVEMENT IF YOU WILL IS GOING WORLDWIDE AS I WRITE THIS.

ITS CALLED ……THE LAST REFORMATION……….THE LIFE……

THIS GUY JUST TOOK THE PRESENCE OF GOD TO THE PEOPLE, ON THE STREETS, THE BEACH, OR WHEREVER THEY MAY BE, GETTING THEM HEALED, SAVED, BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WATER, AND SHOWING THEM HOW THEY CAN DO THE SAME.

This LET THERE BE LIGHT has been deeply implanted in me by the Holy Spirit for this new year 2018, and this is my theme song for the year also.

LET THERE BE LIGHT, OPEN THE EYES OF THE BLIND, PURIFY OUR HEARTS IN YOUR FIRE, BREATH IN US WE PRAY, JESUS HAVE YOUR WAY.

There is only ever darkness where there is an absence of light, you can not turn on a darkness switch, you must first turn off the light to get darkness.

notice…its a LIGHT switch…not a dark switch.

So lets look at the first time the light was turned off and darkness came into the human race.
