coming to the knowledge of the TRUTH

After the HOLY SPIRIT has made some things very clear to me recently, I have had to take a good hard look at becoming a much more committed DISCIPLE than I have been up to now. Jesus said to GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND MAKE ….DISCIPLES…OF ALL NATIONS (people groups).

If we are not yet DISCIPLES HOW IN THE WORLD CAN WE MAKE DISCIPLES. Just say ouch or oh me. Obviously we cannot teach someone to drive the car if we ourselves cannot drive the car.

I think that most people think that disciples are being made on Sunday mornings or just by osmosis, some how it will just magically HAPPEN. Not the case at all, Jesus spent so much time with His disciples, teaching, and showing them how to do and be what He was and did on the job, in reality.

When you look closely at the disciples lives and Paul, I am in amazement at the level of discipleship they came to and on to Apostles also. This being a believer, a follower of THE WAY was not just a Sunday hobby IT WAS THEIR WHOLE LIFE, AND THEY GLADLY GAVE THEIR LIFE IN BEING A SERVANT TO THE CHURCH AND TO THE EXTREME OF BEING THE MARTYR (WITNESS) THAT JESUS SAID THEY WOULD BE.

The majority of what I see today of Christianity pales to what the early Church disciples were like and displayed to the world, so lets take a look at this being a disciple thru the eyes of Jesus.

2 Timothy 3Amplified Bible (AMP)

“Difficult Times Will Come”

3 But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. ² For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, ³ [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, ⁴ traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.

keep FAR FAR AWAY FROM THEM

The scripture ALWAYS GOES TO THE ROOT OF THINGS, understand THIS….IN THE LAST DAYS (THE TIME WE ARE IN NOW) AND ONE TRANSLATION SAYS THERE WILL B …. PERILOUS TIMES.

This word PERILOUS is only used one other time in the Greek NT when the demoniac was facing Jesus, and the word means….FIERCE….AND THIS WILL BE THE LAST DAYS BATTLE BETWEEN THE POWER OF GOD AND THE POWER OF THE devil, and if you cannot operate in the POWER OF GOD….WELL BETTER NOT GET IN THE FIGHT.

Moses did miracles and then so did the magicians, they had some miracle power and still do today, but Moses ALWAYS ENDED UP DOING SOMETHING THE MAGICIANS COULD NOT DO.

THERE WILL BE….NOT THERE MIGHT BE….OR IF WE PRAY HARD ENOUGH THERE WONT BE….OR IF WE PROPHESIE IT AWAY IT WONT HAPPEN…..OR IF WE STICK OUR HEAD IN THE SAND IT WONT HAPPEN….OR IF WE CAN CATCH THE RAPTURE BUS (THAT’S NOT COMING) MAYBE WE CAN ESCAPE IT.

NO UNDERSTAND……. THE FIERCE TIMES WILL COME.

THE WORLD IS NOT GETTING BETTER, AMERICA WILL NEVER BE GREAT AGAIN (NOT THAT IT EVER WAS) THE WORLD IS GETTING worse & WORSE & WORSE & WORSE & WORSE.
