HELLO AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER EDITION OF

ACTS 29 TODAY

I just want to encourage you a bit today, when Peter and the boys were fishing all night and caught nothing, it must have been very discouraging and disheartening. Many times we set out to do something and it just isn’t happening or we R believing for something and it has not showed up yet.

As I was reading that story about Pete and the boys one day, the Holy Spirit said to me…do you realize that at the SAME TIME they were washing their EMPTY NETS THE GREATEST HARVEST OF FISH THEY WOULD EVER CATCH……WHERE GATHERING IN THE DEEP.

I had never thought of that before (that’s why we have the Holy Spirit as our teacher) wow, at the SAME TIME they were washing their empty nets, after fishing all night, catching nothing, the BIGGEST CATCH OF THEIR LIVES WAS GATHERING IN THE DEEP.

That means that while you and I R staring at impossibilities, believing that we already have them by faith, and confessing that they R ours every day.

THE HARVEST IS GATHERING….THE ANSWER TO OUR PRAYER AND FAITH IS BEING IN PROCESS AT THE VERY SAME TIME….WE JUST CANT SEE IT YET WITH OUR PHYSICAL EYES YET.

I ordered something online the other day and had the tracking feature so I could monitor the progress of my shipment. The day after I placed my order ( my prayer and believing I already had it by faith) they said it had left the warehouse (I am still washing MT nets). A few days later it was half way to me ( I am still believing its mine even tho I cannot see it yet) a few days later it was in my hands and I could see with my physical eyes that for which I had believed was mine a week before I saw it.

It is so comforting for me to understand that while I am washing MT nets, while people R asking me if I have caught any fish yet, that while it seems and looks impossible day after day, week after week, month after month, and YES MANY TIMES YEAR AFTER YEAR.

THE ANSWER, THE HARVEST, AND THE COMING INTO THE VISIBLE WORLD

IS IN PROCESS, THE ANSWER IS GATHERING, AND ON THE WAY.

For Pete and the boys this required something, and that something was OBEDIENCE. Jesus said to them, launch out into the deep and cast out your net for a haul. They had just fished all night, caught nothing and were washing their MT nets and going home for a nap. Going back out and fishing again WAS NOT IN THEIR PLAN.

Peter said but on the ground of YOUR WORD, I WILL LOWER THE NETS AGAIN.

The KEY WORD here is YOUR WORD (JESUS WORD) ON THAT WORD WE CAN BE ASSURED OF SUCCESS. The next KEY WORD is I WILL.  I WILL OBEY YOUR WORD.

WHILE NOAH WAS BUILDING THE ARK…..THE FLOOD WAS GATHERING.

WHILE ABRAHAM WAS ABOUT TO SACRIFICE ISSAC…THE RAM WAS THERE.

WHILE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WERE IN TORMENT 40 MORE YEARS UNDER PHARAOH….MOSES WAS BEING PREPARED TO TAKE THEM OUT OF EGYPT.

WHILE JESUS BODY WAS IN THE TOMB…..RESURRECTION WAS COMING.

WHILE PAUL WAS PERSECUTING THE CHURCH…HIS ROAD TO DAMASCUS WAS COMING.

WHILE YOU WERE YET IN SIN…..JESUS DIED TO SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SINS.

AND WHAT YOU R BELIEVING FOR TODAY….THO IT LOOKS IMPOSSIBLE.

IS GATHERING, IS IN PROCESS, AND IS ON THE WAY.

MY MOTHER WASHED MT NETS FOR 3 YEARS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS FAST AT WORK BRINGING HER HARVEST OF……HUSBAND AND 2 SONS INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

SO MY FRIENDS PLEASE KNOW THAT IT IS GATHERING IF WE STAY OBEDIENT TO HIS WORD AND STAND IN FAITH.
