Welcome to edition of ACTS 29 TODAY
Here is the deal, Jesus is coming, BUT you may B going before that happens.
My dear Mother bought an END TIME HOUSE in the 60s preparing for the tough times ahead, it was paid off, had a hand dug well, and everything that would make a great place to live in when times got tough.
Her end time came before the tough times or Jesus came back. (my mother was an awesome women of God)
The Bible says ” occupy until i come” that means being busy about the fathers work. Preaching the good news of the kingdom (not myths like ur best life now) and making disciples.
The early church was not busy trying to change the world thru politics, humanism, nice story’s of how wonderful you R, or anything from the natural man side of things.
They declared the ”good news” of Jesus coming and dying and being raised from the dead, the way, the truth , and the life.
The only door back to god, and they did it thru the POWER of GOD not programs of man.
They turned the world upside down with the teaching and demonstrations of power of THE RESURRECTED JESUS.
Today I don’t even recognize that early church in most places, those early believers gave there all for god, even there very lives, and there was NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT JESUS TOLD THEM TO DO.
I ask myself the other day…what in my life would look different…if i just went all out 100% for Jesus?
But Larry R U not all out 100% for Jesus now?
Sorry not really, do I need to make some changes, YES I DO.
Am I willing to do so? In reality? Everyday disciple? Living every moment like the Gospel is true?
The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, BUT by the Spirits help, and thru His strength, and knowing my real identity IN CHRIST , I WILL BE CHANGED FROM GLORY TO GLORY INTO HIS LIKENESS AND IMAGE .
SO WHETHER HE COMES FIRST OR I GO FIRST I NEED TO B ABOUT MY FATHERS BUSINESS.
And remember nobody cares how much you know
until they know how much you care.
